2013 Landscaping Wrap Up!
January 30th, 2014
We had a big year in 2013 and are looking forward to going even bigger this year! We had the privilege to work with a variety of new clients on some exciting landscaping projects! From ponds and waterfeatures to deck building and interlock patios and everything in between. Being able to take a homeowner’s vision and put it on paper through a landscape design and then bring that vision/design to life really is something to be proud of and we hope our clients feel just as proud of their finished product as we do! In 2012 the majority of our work was on front yard landscaping. We did a lot of interlock walkways and entrances as well as gardens and retaining walls. Whereas 2013 seemed to be the year of the backyard oasis with much of our efforts focusing on backyard landscaping such as decks, waterfeatures, jumbo flagstone patios and pergolas. We have also found an increased interest in large armour stone works whether that be for raised gardens or retaining walls. There is a shift towards a more natural look as opposed to the precast pavers. In our opinion both are a wonderful solution and so much of the decision to use one product over the other is based on the area and landscape you are working with. But that’s part of the beauty of this work…every job is different and every client has a different vision for their home or project and it’s always exciting to go on that journey together. Please take a moment and look at our journey for 2013 with this video we made of some of our projects. All of these jobs were both challenging and rewarding in their own way and we are already getting geared up for the upcoming season by planning and scheduling jobs for the spring/summer! Please contact us if you would like a free estimate! The snowy season doesn’t mean we’ve stopped working!
